BUILDING A NEW NARRATIVE
In 1974, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act passed, prohibiting discrimination in consumer credit practices on the basis of sex, race, or marital status.
While women have gained more financial freedoms in the last 50 years, the narrative surrounding women and money hasn't dramatically changed. Societal norms and generational trauma have ingrained financial insecurity within the psyches of women. Put simply: Women have been taught they aren't good with money.
The Woodward Foundation is re-writing that narrative, aiming to unlock financial freedom, not just for women, but for all.
